Evan Harris was co-creator of the 1990s 'zine Quitter Quarterly, from which her book The Quit (Simon & Schuster/Fireside)

emerged. Other 'zines include Occasional Alphabet and SuperHeart; also, Cosmic Rock booklets.

Her short stories once upon a time appeared in Fence, Open City, Jane Magazine, Story, The Brooklyn Rail, and Fairy Tale Review, among other publications.

 

Most currently, her work appears online in Community Literacy Journal, Miracle Monocle, and Fictive Dream.

 

Evan is a book reviewer for her home town newspaper The East Hampton Star.
