Evan Harris was co-creator of the 1990s 'zine Quitter Quarterly, from which her book The Quit (Simon & Schuster/Fireside)
emerged. Other 'zines include Occasional Alphabet and SuperHeart; also, Cosmic Rock booklets.
Her short stories once upon a time appeared in Fence, Open City, Jane Magazine, STORY, The Brooklyn Rail, and Fairy Tale Review, among other publications.
She presented her electronic novella, 'Suspended: a small town zero tolerance story in survey form,' at the Electronic Literature Organization conference in Cork, Ireland.
